This page will feature a company that makes natural products that really are natural and really do work. It is the best kept secret in town. It’s time to tell the secret. I really like their hair and skin care products. First, I want to lay the foreground so that we can see the big picture.
There are hundreds, perhaps even thousands of black hair care products. There are hundreds, maybe even thousands of salons and black hair care supply stores. I “Googled” and “Binged” an inquiry of “How much do Black Women Spend on Hair Care?” I have yet to find a definitive answer. I even saw a post from a school kid asking the same question for a paper. She received a variety of answers, including “What kind of paper is that?” At any rate, it appears that nobody has done the research.
I cannot even find a definitive answer for how much profit is made by the black hair care industry. Some say $1.5 billion others say $2 billion. I have even seen as much as $5 billion. Let’s just say that the black hair care industry is a multi-billion dollar industry. Think about it– that’s a lot of money.
How many times have we purchased hair care products that do not work for us? How much money have we spent on these products. If we were to add up the costs of all the forgotten products in our “Hair care Closets,” we might have a dollar total that would pay our cell phone bill or at least a visit to the salon. If we were to take another look at the list of the ingredients of these dead products, we may find a list of chemicals that we cannot pronounce. Or if we can pronounce these chemicals, do we know what anything about them? I would say no.
